Abstract

This article examines the evolution of  modern Islamic thought in the post Sir Syed’s era tracing the intellectual and ideological trajectories reforsed through a critical analysis of key thinker, movements and debates. This study assesses the complex legacies of Sir Syed’s modernist project, including its impact on Islamic education, theology and politics. By investigating the tensions between continuity and change, this research provides insight into the ongoing struggles to redefine Islamic identity, authority and practice in the contemporary era. It also sheds light on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’ the point of view about the accepted facts of Islam and its teachings. There are some facts that are denyed by Sir Syed Ahmad.
