This study explores the foundational principle of Islamic jurisprudence, "Certainty Is Not Overruled by Doubt" (اليقين لا يزول بالشك), by examining its origins, development and application within Islamic legal tradition. The principle serves as a critical tool for jurists in resolving legal issues where doubt or uncertainty arises, ensuring that established certainty remains intact.
