Abstract

This research article describe the Qurānic services of women during the era of Banu Abbas (132AH-923AH). Women played a  significant role in the education of the Qurān.These scholars taught Qurānic recitation, interpretation, tajwid (art of recitation) and memorization to children, women and adults, privately and publicly. They engaged with their communities, promoting Qurānic education and values. They memorized and recited the Qurān, serving as role models and inspiring others.Some women became renowned scholars, specializing in Qurānic exegesis, Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence. They participated in intellectual debates and discussions on Qurānic exegesis and interpretation. They played leadership roles in educational institutions, overseeing Qurānic education programs.The article concludes that these services demonstrate the significant contributions of women made to Qurānic education during the Banu Abbas era, showcasing their scholarship, leadership, and dedication to preserving and transmitting Qurānic knowledge.
