القواعد الدعوية ما يتعلق بالداعي في تفسير بيان القرآن للدكتور إسرار أحمد
The Rules of Preaching Related to The Preacher in The Interpretation of Tafseer Bayān ul Qurān By Dr. Isrār Aḥmad
Abstract
Bayān-ul-Qurān occupies a prominent place in the study of contemporary Islām due to its high interactivity and unique structure. It is not like any other standard Quranic texts and commentaries. It is not only a commentary on the Qurān but gives an insight into various sectors such as economics, sociology, historiography and politics. Dr. Israr Aḥmad, in his writings, provides a critique of all life-based societies, maintaining that Islam has a ready-made solution for everything. His struggle started off in the form of Quran-related teachings aiming to holistically disseminate the relevance of the Holy Qurān to common people around the globe. Dr. Israr Aḥmad also uses this approach in his analysis: in order to get the meaning of a particular verse, we must look for its explanation in the Sunnah of Muḥammad and the history of the particular Surah. At the same time, he touches upon problems that have long been around, but have been poorly covered in the literature, for example, the issue of the dowry and the issue of usury. How Bayān-ul-Qurān addresses these issues lies in the focus theme and, in particular, how the present-day world epitomises the Muslim ummah and her intellectuals respectively. In his opinion, it is important for everybody in society to practice this Islam religion. That is why he spoke about the necessity of using the most appropriate modern tools in order for his message to reach every part of society. Muslims are now struggling, like they have in previous eras, to bring the Islamic system to practical existence and adoption in the global context. These endeavours aimed at the revival and construction of the society can be analysed in a number of dimensions. One of such activities includes the pursuit of setting up an Islamic state, its Islamic systems, and expansion of Islam. With numerous others, Dr. Israr Aḥmad is also popular in the subcontinent for his ideas and active work in the society, particularly regarding the tactics of destruction of the vice and the reliance upon the principled leaders, who will organize the system. He claims this is what necessitates the need for importance and effectiveness. In this context, his understanding of the requirements of the situation varies from that of other Muslim intellectuals in the subcontinent.
