Analytical Study of Effects of Islamization on Women in Zia ul Ḥaq Era

Abstract

Islamiztaion in Zia Era has importance because many reforms and laws were introduced and applied in Pakistani Muslim society. This research article focuses on the restrictions on women during islamization and impacts on the Muslim women. The reforms about the women and their matters have been discussed and analyzed. Different experts’ opinions have been also presented to elaborate the problems caused by the islamization. It can be concluded that there are some obsevations of the people about the laws introduced during the islamization. Most of the restrictions on women are according to the teachimgs of Islam. Although there are some observations about these reforms among the scholars that have been made clear by the writer.
