A Review of Services of Syed Ameen Ali Shah Naqvi

Abstract

Faislabād’s Ulamā, religious and literary personalities have been put great contribution in the religious and poetic literarture. Among those one is Syed Ameen Alī Shah Naqvī, he is a sufī poet, famous for poetry in Arābic, Persian, Urdu and Punjābī lanuauges. His mission of life was only to say Naat and Manqabat. He played a vital role in spreading the teachings of Islām through his wonderful and exemplary poetry. He teaches to Muslim that solution of all the social issues in the love with Ḥazrat Muḥammad(ﷺ) and in the unity of Muslim Ummah. He made poetry about the Ahl e Bait, Companions of Prophets (ﷺ ) and Saints. He wrote many books of poetry with different style and methods. He set the different trends in Naat as sufi poet. This research deals with study of the books and services of Syed Ameen Alī Shah Naqvī that how his work is unique in style of poetry, having great motivation towards the love with Ḥazrat Muḥammad(ﷺ), Ahl e Bait, Companions of Prophets (ﷺ) and Saints and lesson for the unity of Muslim Ummah.
