The Qur'ān is the basic source of Islāmic knowledge. It has been revealed on the Prophet Muḥammad (SAW) for about twenty-three years. In his life, the Prophet (SAW) himself informed the meaning of the words and verses of the Qur'ān. After his life, the companions of the Prophet continued their efforts to understand the Qurān. The Qur'an teaches us how to lead a perfect life. Thus, the Qur'ān takes us to the right path. The current thesis reviews briefly the literature on the translations of the Qur'ān made by Muftī Dr. Ghulām Sarwar Qādrī and his counterparts. Thus, this study tried to provide insight into the understanding of the Qur'ān. The study focuses on the four translations. They are: Uʿmdatul Bayān, Zubdatul Bayān, Balāgh ul Qur'an and Maānī al Qur'ān. The study deals with the figurative, stylistic, linguistic, and theoretical aspects. The study style of the Qurān throws light on “Ilmul Maānī'' "Ilmul Bayān" and” Ilmul Badiī". Further, the Qur’ānic translations are compared in their grammatical sense. Which of the translations is best? In our idea, the translation of Muftī Dr. Ghulām Sarwar Qādrī is the best among the selected translations.
