Analytical study of Modern Dress in Islamic perspective

Abstract

Modern dressing is very sensitive issue among Muslims both for male and female, sometimes it creates confusion about our limits in dressing and which dressing is actually called the modern dressing. So we will try to address the confusion about modern dressing in the light of Islāmic “Shariah” Islām is not against the modern dressing but it says that it should not be out of the limits. So the article deals to concept of modern dressing in Islam, dress code in Islam as well as the usage of different types of dressing like thin, fitted, short and expensive which is not according to Islam. Through this article the confusion will be clarified that which makes us confused about modern dressing and how much it is allowed to follow. There are no any restrictions to wear or not modern dressing but Islām provided guidance about dressing. Islām told us the limits of dressing which have to be followed by both male and female. And these limits are the dress code by Islām.
