The Analysis of Evolutionary Journey of Last Prophet Muhammad’ Biography in Urdu

Abstract

Allah started the chain of Prophets from Hazrat Adam in order to improve human life and this chain reached the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad. These Prophets brought revolutionary changes in human ethics, civilization and society. But the last Prophet introduced such a revolution in practical civilization and morals, as well as in academic civilization and academic values, that his blessed life became the fountainhead of sciences and arts. Biography (Seerah) is an endless ocean because it is not just a biography of a personality but a culture, it is a very interesting and useful story of the beginning and evolution of a civilization and a divine message. A history was made in the sub-continent regarding biography. Although there was no work on biography for a long time since the beginning of Islam in the sub-continent, but this deficiency has been remedied in the past two centuries. Residents of subcontinent have played the most role in highlighting Seerah. The total age of Urdu biography is less than a century. But due to its rarity, innovative aspects, excellent style and attractiveness, it has a status superior to the capital biography of ancient languages. The evolution of sources of biography, is thematic analysis and traditional criticism.
