Abstract
The life of the Prophet ﷺ has always been a topic of discussion due to its comprehensiveness. In every era, numerous scholars have highlighted various aspects of the Prophet's ﷺ life. Not only Muslim scholars, but also non-Muslim thinkers have described the Prophet's ﷺ life based on their scholarly and intellectual abilities. Some non-Muslim thinkers have criticized different aspects of the Prophet's ﷺ life but there have also been non-Muslim biographers (Seerat Nigār (who have acknowledged the prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ and have written about his life with great honesty and impartiality, free from religious bias. One such example is the Hindu author Swāmī Lakshman Parshād, who wrote "Arab Ka Chānd" (The Moon of Arabia), a unique and captivating biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The author has written this book with great devotion and deep love for the Prophet ﷺ, which is clearly evident throughout his writing. This book is divided into two parts, where Lakshman Parshād has honestly described the life of the Prophet ﷺ under 40 topics. The author has used both historical and literary styles to describe the Prophet's ﷺ life, emphasizing that the Prophet ﷺ was the greatest reformer who brought light to the dark era of Arabia, and whose teachings are still needed in today's Indian society as well as which is plagued by moral decay. In this article, we have discussed the author's approach and style, as well as the sources utilized in writing this book.
