Abstract

Undoubtedly the spiritual dimension and integral part of religion of Islam is called Sufism or tasawuf. Sufism has helped to shape, nourish large parts of muslim society. Industrialization and modern life have led to a constant decrease in the influence of Sufi orders but spiritual heritage is preserved by individuals. This article enlightens to explore the positive and negative spiritual dimensions of Sufism, delusional presumptions and misconceptions in tasawuf that illustrate the multi-faceted aspects of this Phenomenon, though the thought of Maulana Shah Abdul Qadir Raipuri (RA) is intended to enlight in details regarding with the implementation of desirable and undesirable facts of tasawuf. Moulana Shah Abdul Qadir Raipuri (RA) who implemented tasawuf to train human to be sensitive, humanist and awareness to do worship to Allah. He played a key role and facilitated the spread of Islam among the masses but the elites did not come under the influence of Islam. Khanqah Raipur in South Asia in associated with the spiritual and inner aspects of muslim identity in the sub-continent from all forms of indulgence severed by this mortal world.
