Evidences of Metaphor in the Hadiths of the Prophet - A Study in the Text of (Sahih Muslim) as a Model

Abstract

 The researchers were interested in studying the metaphorical evidence in the hadiths of the Prophet specially in the book “Sahih al-Muslim” as a model for that, summarized the research in the introduction to the thesis the status of prophetic rhetoric among students and scholars old and new, and then proceeded in detail. First in the definition of metaphor language and idiomatically, and then deliberately to manifest this rhetorical type by selecting hadiths that included evidences of metaphors. The aim of the study is to prove by research that the prophetic statement does not stop at the limits of accuracy and tightness in the formulation of the metaphor only, but goes beyond that to achieve educational and guidance and educational goals.
