Manhaj of Imām Muslim's Jarḥo Ta’dil Ruwa't and its Characteristics

Abstract

Muslim ibn Al-Ḥajjāj Al-Qushairy considered as an outstanding and eminent authority of Ḥadīth. He is one the leading scholars of the Prophet’s (S.A.W.) Ḥadīths. His Ḥadīth Book “Saḥīḥ Muslim” is regarded as one of the two most authentic books of Ḥadīth, alongside Sahih Al-Bukhari. Imām Muslim (RA) has a special opinion regarding the teaching of Ru'ah, which has its own characteristics and distinctions, due to which Imām Muslim was distinguished in his time regarding the Ḥadīth tradition and differed with the muhaddiths of his time. In this research paper The scholar discussed and shed light on “Imām Muslim's Jarh Wa -Ta’dil Al-Rawa'ah and his Characteristics and Spaciallities” in collection Ḥadīths, for which his words will be explained first. Then each time a narrator of Tadeel will be mentioned as an example as well as the sayings of other Imāms will also be mentioned so that the nature of Imām Muslim's ta'dil can be understood in which position he stands in the Jirah and Tadeel.  Are they violent or unwilling to commit adultery? Or they are counted among the moderate Imāms.After this, the characteristics of Imām Muslim's tadeel will be described.
