Abstract

This article explores the social and religious responsibilities of women in Islam, highlighting their roles as daughters, sisters, and wives. Women are encouraged to respect and obey their parents, uphold family harmony, support their siblings in righteous conduct, and maintain chastity, modesty, and moral integrity. In marriage, they are expected to cooperate with and respect their husbands while safeguarding household and family well-being. Islamic teachings emphasize women’s adherence to spiritual, ethical, and social duties, including proper conduct, hygiene, and moderation in behavior, thereby contributing to both family and societal development. Understanding these multifaceted responsibilities is crucial for appreciating the role of women in fostering moral and spiritual growth within the community.
