A Research Review of the Effects of the Waḥdat Al-Shahūd by Ḥazrat Mujaddid Al-Thānī and its Importance in The Present Era

Abstract

During the time of Ḥazrat Mujaddid, there were governments behind which the religious identity of Ahl e Sunnat or Ahl e Shia was based on one or the other. The impact of these conditions can be felt in the writings of Ḥazrat Mujaddid. The political changes that took place, Ḥazrat Mujaddid kept a close eye on them, commenting on these situations and various suggestions regarding the reformation of the situation can be easily seen in the letters. Through his letters, he gave intellectual and conscious training to his noble courtiers to refine their character and actions. Letters were also sent to notable scholars and series of meetings were also started for communication. For this purpose he also spread caliphs within the country. In the same way, with the purity of character, morals and habits of the workers who fought for the revival of Islam, he instilled in them movement, struggle, competition, defense, high moral, determination and courage and to face difficulties and obstacles manfully. Inculcated the spirit and qualities of adopting strategies to overcome risks and obstacles. In this article the effects of his thoughts regarding wahdat al Shahud have been discussed and analysed.
