Abstract

The Holy Qur'an revealed in Arabiç language is the first basic and primary source of Islăm. It propagates the message of Almighty Allah to all human being and it presents complete code of life for humanity. It has been translated in different languages by scholars. Their method varies from one to another while doing translation as one used poetic styles in the translation and other scholars started to write preamble for these translations. Among these two methods, writing preamble is difficult. It requires expertise and command over Tafseer and Qur'anic sciences. And it can be achieved through specialization in Quranic sciences. Maulană Ghulam Muštafa Qăsmî from Sindhī (Pakistan) is one of those scholars who have written on this subject. He has written some preambles in different languages on different Qur'anic Translation. Maulana Ghulăm Mustafa Qăsmî has written preamble on Quran’s Poetic translation of Hajī Ahmad Malla’ah. In this article, we have explored the importance of Maulană Ghulam Muštafa Qăsmî’s work for researchers in same line of study.
